  2. Very good find! :) I think I've seen her books in the bookstore.

I loved how she had the itty-bitty parts of the cat for the beginning & middle, but the whole backside for the end! Too great of an illustration!

  3. @Raechel: I thought it was fun myself!

@Liberty: I haven't read any of Cabot's books, but I know she wrote the series that inspired The Princess Diaries movies.

  4. I love that she wrote her first book when she was 7. Interesting that the highest hitter on my blog is "7 Writing Tips From a 7-Year-Old." Must be something about being 7. I don't even remember being 7. That must be a bad thing.

  5. I can't remember how old I was when I wrote my first book. Eleven or twelve, maybe. At seven, I was too busy running around on my hands and knees, pretending to be a horse.

  6. This is excellent! My daughters love Meg Cabot... now I see why, she is a riot! I wrote my first book was when I was 11. At 7 I was skipping around my neighborhood because walking was boring; I thought I invented something new. Karen

  11. Okay, now you've got me wondering what kind of pajamas cats wear. Polka dots?
