  3. LOL. Took a class at a writer's retreat a couple years ago that was all about the meaning of color in classical fiction. I had to chuckle, because I wonder if authors back then even thought about that type of thing?

  4. I feel that color is one of the most vivid descriptors we can use, but aside from that I don't give my choice of color much thought.

  5. Ugh, this is totally my teacher. I don't know what he was talking about most of the time. Most people don't think like him. He would tell me pull in your stuff insinuate more. The average person reading my stuff would comment: "Huh?" You're being a little vague.

    That being said, he did teach me to insinuate more without expecting my readers to be mind readers. There is a balance though.
